The FastBack Feedback Form makes it easy for your readers to share their reaction to your articles.
Are your articles connecting with your readers? Are your readers interested and engaged? Do they find your site useful?
Should you change your writing style, or offer different content?
This is important information for web writers to have. If we don't have this feedback from readers, we're flying blind.
Just as importantly perhaps, if we don't hear from readers we may start to think we are writing to nobody, and that can undercut our motivation for producing new content.
Why do so few readers offer their comments?
First, usually nobody asks them to.
Second, it takes time on most sites to find the proper contact form. Sure, you know where your own contact form is, but new readers have to hunt for it.
We've tried to solve all these problems by giving Publisher-For-You authors what we call the "FastBack" feature.
Web programmer Will Bontrager took our rough idea, and coded up a wonderful solution for us within a few days.
You can turn the FastBack feature on with one click in the user control panel.
Once this is done, a feedback link will appear at the end of every article on your site.
When users click the link, a feedback form appears on the page, in place of the link.
When the form is submitted, a thank you message replaces the feedback form.
No page loads are involved in this process.
Your reader never leaves the article they are commenting on. Readers don't have to find the contact form, it comes to them, on whatever page they're currently reading.
