The navigation system for your site builds itself, and provides your readers with access to every page, from every page.
Every year webmasters waste billions of hours fiddling around with the navigation system of their sites every time they add or delete a page.
It's a tedious job. Nobody pays us for it. And sooner or later we make a mistake, resulting in dead links on our site. The dead links look sloppy, and annoy visitors.
You'll be happy to know your Publisher-For-You account eliminates this problem entirely.
You no longer have to manage the navigation system for your site because...
The navigation system for your site builds and manages itself.
Phew, what a relief...
Links are automatically added when you create a new page, and automatically deleted when you remove a page.
Not only that, the navigation system your site builds for you is probably more user friendly than any navigation system you've ever built yourself.
Let's take a look at how it works.
Recent Articles
Readers will find navigation tools at the bottom of every page, just under the article.
The first thing they'll see is a list of links to the most recent articles you've added to your site. This makes it easy for loyal return visitors to find all the articles they haven't read yet.
This list of recent articles automatically updates itself as you publish new articles.
All Articles
Right under the links to recent articles, readers will find drop down menus which contain links to every article on your site.
There is a link to every page on your site, from every page on your site, so your readers are never more than one click away from whatever they're looking for.
These drop down menus are organized by categories.
That is, all your kitten articles are presented in one drop down menu. Links to all your cat health articles are displayed in their own drop down menu. Your articles about exotic cat breeds can be found grouped together in another drop down menu, etc.
This drop down menu system is automatically updated every time you add a new page to your site, or remove a page, or rename a page.
Search
The navigation section at the bottom of each page contains a search feature.
Users can enter a word or phrase they're interested in, and search through all the titles and summaries of every article on your site.
They'll receive a list of articles that contain their search term in either the title or summary.
The Sitemap
The sitemap feature expands on the navigation tools described above.
When users go to the sitemap they'll see both the titles and summaries for all articles on your site.
They can choose to sort the display to show the oldest or newest articles first.
They can limit the sitemap display to show only the articles of a specific category.
The Simple Sitemap
A second site map? Yes, the Simple Sitemap is designed primarily for search engines. All the fancy behind the scenes coding has been removed from the Simple Sitemap to make it easy for search engines to find every page on your site and include them in the search engine listings.
Given that most of your traffic will come from search engines, we felt it was worth the extra trouble to create a sitemap designed especially for search engine site crawlers, who are after all very important visitors.
The Simple Sitemap may also appeal to novice web surfers who are confused by too many controls and options.
Your Job
If you are planning a large site you'll probably want to give some thought to organizing your articles in to categories.
As example, if you're planning to write a series of articles on kittens, then you'd create a category called kittens.
As you create each page you'll choose the appropriate category for that article from a drop down menu.
That's all there is to it. Other than that, the navigation system for your site will build and manage itself, leaving you free to focus on income producing jobs, like writing lots of great articles.
